Overview
The programme aims to educate communication specialists who can effectively apply competencies from both physical and technological sciences to communicate innovations to businesses and society.
Even the most innovative product is destined to fail if it doesn’t reach the right audience or manufacturer. Studies consistently show that many innovative products fail, often causing significant losses, due to poor communication during their introduction to the market.
In today’s world, businesses launch new products and services almost daily. However, it is professional and targeted marketing communication that ultimately drives product success. As a result, the demand for specialists who can craft effective communication strategies is extremely high, not only in Lithuania but globally.
Innovations can often be applied across various fields, yet there is a significant shortage of professionals who both understand these innovations and can introduce them in an appropriate and effective way.
Poor communication can lead to misunderstandings about innovation—not only among the general public but also among potential end-users. Furthermore, public relations specialists without a background in engineering or technological thinking may struggle to deliver clear and accurate messages, which can lead to communication failures.
The need for Lithuanian businesses to effectively communicate their innovations has been the primary reason for establishing the MSc in Communication of Innovation and Technology, aimed at training specialists in this critical field.
